Insulated tempered glass
The unique features of insulated glass
1. Insulated glass or dual pane glass is that it creates a "dead air space" between the two pieces of glass creating substantial insulating properties. Building utilizing insulated glass are much energy efficient. Usually, the bigger the space between the two pieces of glass, the better the insulating qualities are.
For example: First, It improves thermal performances ; second, It reduces heating and air conditioning costs; Third, It reduces interior condensation in cold climates.
2. Insulated glass provides excellent soundproofing.
3. Low u Value. Insulated glass can reduce U value effectively, especially filled with inert gas.
Application
The various applications include fixed and operable window, storefronts and curtain walls, sloped/overhead glazing, useful at non-vision (spandrels)locations, roofing of the industry and civil building, office building, waiting room of the airport, places where constant temperature is required.
